Apple Cobbler

Dough:
1 1/3 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 T sugar
1/2 c soy milk
1/4 c melted margarine
1 1/2 T soy milk or melted margarine for brushing top of dough

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and 2 T sugar. Add milk & margarine. Stir until it forms a sticky dough. Set aside.

Filling:
5 c peeled & sliced apples
3/4 c sugar
2 T flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c water

Spread filling evenly in an ungreased pan (approx 8x9). Spread dough as evenly as possible on top. Brush top with milk or margarine and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 for 35-40 min. Cool for 15 min before serving.
