Gravy

1/4 c oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
2 slices of onion, chopped
1/4 c flour
2 tsp nutritional yeast (opt)
1-2 T soy sauce
2 c water
1/4 tsp sage
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt

Heat oil at medium in a small pot. Cook the garlic and onion about 2-3 minutes.

Add the flour, yeast, and soy sauce to make a paste. Gradually whisk in the water. Bring the gravy to a boil on medium to medium-high heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Add pepper.
